BIHR: Nostalgia is futile.

This Thursday’s meeting will be a little bit different. Members of the Phi Kappa Literary Society will be trying out for the Intrasociety Debate team. The Intrasociety Debate pits actives against alumni, so this year’s team must have sharp tongues, quick wits, and keen minds. Join us this Thursday to hear some fantastic speeches.

We will also be having a second debate which both members and guests can participate in: BIHR: Nostalgia is futile.

The Intrasociety tryouts lineup is as follows:

BIHR: Marriage is an outdated institution
Affirm: Sister Henry
Negate: Sis. La Mantia

BIHR: Affirmative action should be discontinued
Affirm: Brother Banton
Negate: Sister Pekala

BIHR: Presidential elections should be publicly financed
Affirm: Sister Kue
Negate: Andrew Plaskowsky
