Afghanistan

That’s what’s on this week. Yeah, we tackle the big issues in the hall. From 9/11 to surging out troops, what, exactly, should our military stratagy be over there? Well, here’s the resolution:
BIHR: The United States ought to deploy more troops to Afghanistan.
Brother Wharton will be presenting. Here are his definitions:
Increase- Send an additional 10,000 to 70,000 U.S troops
Troops- Any member of the United States Armed Services, Federal law
enforcement officer, or any civilian or civilian entity that has a
contract with the United States government to provide defensive,
offensive, or protective duties on behalf of the United States
government.
Afghanistan- The geo-political state located in the Mediterranean area
surrounded by the countries of Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan,
Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
Main Argument: The United States should increase the number of troops
in Afghanistan in order to decrease terrorist threats to the United
States, establish a working, stable government in Afghanistan, and
bring the United States’s involvement in Afghanistan to a victorious
close.
Brother Schwegler will be first negating.
Join us in ‘ol PK hall for the usual, smooth, orderly debate this week. Say, shall we start the debate early? Comment and let us know what you think if you can’t make it to the hall. Should we send in a surge of troops to Afghanistan? Should we pull out? What’s really going on over ther anyway?
